In February I had the pleasure to shoot a portrait of Umber Ahmad for Food & Wine. Can I just say that this woman is one for the books. She is funny, sophisticated, intelligent and beautiful. It was such a pleasure to get to know her. Umber is the lady behind Mah Ze Dahr Bakery, which was discovered by Tom Colicchio. Such a talented woman!
